I, the author, was raised Orthodox-Jewish, with less-than-little belief in something like a genuine, supernatural message from the Virgin Mary. Nonetheless, over the years, my mind, thank God, has been opened. Now, I know that Marion apparitions can be authentic.
My adult theology may seem puzzling; after all, I simultaneously adhere both to a faith that is ultra-Orthodox Jewish and to one traditionally Christian. However, I have no internal conflict with my theology. Rather, I know that I am merely in the vanguard of those who recognize how Judaism and Christianity will, via the principles of overlapping truth that exist within each theological system, eventually unite into one religion. This unification, which God strongly desires and of which Maimonides writes, will transpire in the Messianic Age—an Age, I am convinced, that is already unfolding.
